Bhalwal Fabrics was founded in the 1970s by the late Muhammad Suleman Sb in Bhalwal, near the district of Sargodha. What began as a small trading business, with Muhammad Suleman Sb working alongside his sons to trade various types of fabrics, soon evolved into one of the most respected names in the fabric industry. The foundation of the company is deeply rooted in the values of tradition, family, and a commitment to quality, all of which have been passed down through generations.
Following Muhammad Suleman Sb's tenure, leadership of the company transitioned to his two sons, Muhammad Shafi Sb and Muhammad Rafi Sb. They expanded the fabric trading business by sourcing and supplying a diverse range of textile products. Their hands-on approach and dedication to family involvement laid the groundwork for what would later become a thriving enterprise. During this time, the company established a solid reputation for sourcing high-quality materials and providing premium fabrics to customers throughout the district.
In 1998, the company made a pivotal move by partially relocating to Faisalabad, the heart of Pakistan’s textile industry. This transition also marked the rebranding of the company from its original name, Bilal Cloth House, to Bhalwal Fabrics, while retail operations continued in Bhalwal.
By 2005, the company had completely relocated to Faisalabad, facilitating further expansion and transformation. This strategic shift allowed the company to grow beyond fabric trading and into manufacturing. Initially relying on outsourced production, the company soon recognized the importance of maintaining full control over quality, leading to the development of in-house processing capabilities.
Bhalwal Fabrics underwent significant transformation. With a keen understanding of the market and a drive to innovate, the company ventured into fabric manufacturing. They transitioned from outsourced production to managing in-house processes, which granted the company greater control over quality and supply. This innovative approach enabled exponential growth and helped the company secure a firm foothold in the fabric industry, expanding its presence in both local and regional markets.
As Bhalwal Fabrics grew, so did its commitment to excellence. The company’s product range expanded, particularly focusing on high-quality ladies’ unstitched dresses. Each item is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring both durability and style, qualities synonymous with the Bhalwal name.
Today, the legacy of Muhammad Suleman Sb is carried forward by the third generation of his family, who now oversee different departments of the company. This new generation continues to build on the strong foundation laid by their forebears, blending tradition with modern business practices to ensure the company remains competitive in an ever-evolving industry.
